Meet Mrs. Estrada
This is my second year teaching at Baywood Elementary! I’m looking forward to an exciting new year!
I have been married to my husband Anthony for four wonderful years! Anthony works for Genetech as a Scientist. We recently purchased our first home in San Carlos.I graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science. I also completed a Multiple Subject Credential and Masters of Education through Chapman University. I love working with computers, so I often incorporate computers in my assignments.
My goal this year is to create an energetic learning environment which motivates students to take risks, share ideas, and acquire knowledge. I promote an atmosphere of safety, trust, and respect within the classroom and work hard to build a sense of community among students. I try my best to make learning fun and challenging by using a variety of instructional models and technology to inspire my students. I value cooperation and collaboration both in my classroom and colleagues. I know that great things can happen when we work together!
"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge."
